Internal Arts

Dr. Verigan had many years in the martial arts before transitioning to the internal arts. As she progressed in her art, she also studied Therapeutic Massage and Acupuncture, completing an 18-month academic program with the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine which culminated with a 6-week internship at the Wan Jing Hospital in Beijing.

Dr. Verigan, who holds a PhD. in Educational Psychology as well as other Advanced and Undergraduate Degrees, uses both her formal education and practical experience to enhance her craft.

Dr. Verigan is also the Grandmaster of the Kajukenpo Pai Lum Kung Fu System. With over 30 years of martial arts experience and after studying several different styles she settled into the Kajukenpo Pai Lum Family where she is not only the head of the family, but hosts an annual Kick for Cancer Charity Martial Arts Tournament and a one week annual summer training program in the great woods of New Hampshire.

Grandmaster Verigan has also been inducted into the World Martial Arts and the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
